Here is another one that never appeared on CD. Sound is a bit distorted on some brass sections but the performance is absolutely outstandig. I am refering to the recording of Gerhard's 1st symphony coupled with the suite of D. Quixote by Antal Dorati and the BBC SO on the EMI musc today series.. I don't really understand how EMI has forgotten all that Gerhard as this fills a cd..
